Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL), Britain's biggest bus manufacturers, produces the UK's market leading range of single and double deck bus chassis and bodies. Other key markets include the Far East and North America. Principal manufacturing centres are Guilford (chassis), Falkirk and Scarborough (body). Equally important are ADL’s customer support operations, employing some 300 people.
ADL is an innovator, particularly in low floor double deck and midibus technology, having originally pioneered these market defining concepts. Recent developments include being first to market with a revolutionary hybrid drive system for single and double deck buses, plus launching the world’s first high capacity hybrid double deck.
