Sullivan Buses first with "10" plate Enviro200

Sullivan Enviro200 1Sullivan Buses based in Potters Bar believes it was the “first across the line” with a new ‘10’ plate Enviro200 registered and operating in Hertfordshire and London on March 1.

Commenting on the purchase and delivery of the vehicle, Dean Sullivan, Managing Director of Sullivan Buses Ltd, said:
“The Enviro200 has proved a great hit with our customers and drivers. We   were especially grateful to Alexander Dennis for meeting the tight timescales set for the start of this contract.  They delivered the bus bang on schedule, ready for the beginning of "10" plate registrations.

“It was inspected by our engineers and everything was ‘green for go’. As a result, I believe we were the first to register and put a ‘10’ plate vehicle into service in Hertfordshire and London.”
The new Enviro200 has been purchased for contract work with Hertfordshire County Council. It will operate a series of rural bus services, serving small communities around East Hertfordshire.
The Enviro200 introduces low floor, wheelchair accessibility to these services for the first time. It is an 8.9m model, powered by a Cummins ISBe four-cylinder Euro5 engine with Allison transmission.
