5 E200 glasgow CitybusWest Coast Motors has taken delivery of five new ADL Enviro200 midi buses to operate on Glasgow Citybus routes.

Glasgow Citybus, a subsidiary of West Coast Motors, operates a network of bus services in Glasgow’s northwest area.

Commenting on the new fleet of Enviro200s, Colin Craig, the Managing Director of West Coast Motors, said:
“We bought our first Enviro200s in 2007 and they have performed so well that they were the obvious choice when it came to ordering more new buses. The stylish interior and comfort offered is popular with our passengers, as is the excellent low floor access. We also look for low operating costs and reliability and the Enviro200 meets all of these criteria.”

The new Enviro200s are all 10.8m models, powered by Cummins ISBe four-cylinder Euro4.5 engines with Allison S2100 four-speed automatic transmissions. They are fitted with Telma retarders on the rear axles and Hanover and Mobitec destination screens.
