Lloyds Coaches add Enviro300s for new route
Lloyds Coaches of Machynlleth have taken delivery of two Alexander Dennis Enviro300 single deck buses to operate on their new commercial route X28 between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth.
Commenting on the purchase Managing Director Wyn Lloyd said: “As a business we are committed to the old fashioned values of providing the best services and buses for our local community, hence the reason we have bought these two new Enviro300s. We wanted stylish but robust, reliable and fuel efficient vehicles offering passenger comfort and supported by first class service and parts back-up.
“Our new X28 service is hourly and provides a direct response to public requests for a regular service at a competitive price. The Enviro300 fits into our modern, expanding fleet and is perfect for our requirements.”
Both Enviro300s are 12 metre, 45-seaters, with Euro 4.5 Cummins ISBe250 engines. One has a ZF 6HP 504C transmission and the other a Voith D854.5.
