Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, today announced a number of internal promotions in its commercial team to make the company’s sales and marketing activity even more responsive to its customers and stakeholders.
Alexander Dennis’s customer-centric function has been restructured under the direction of Group Commercial Director Martin West, who joined the business earlier in 2022 with a vision to bring the business even closer to customers and partners to help the industry recover from the challenges faced in recent times and drive the business towards sustainably decarbonising its vehicle parc.
Mat Lawrence has been promoted from his role as Business Development Director to the newly formed role of Fleet Sales Director. Mat will be responsible, with his team, for working with major group customers in the UK and internationally on how these large fleets can be transitioned to carbon neutrality in a long-term commercially viable way with Alexander Dennis products and services support.
Charlie Miller is the company’s new Retail Sales Director, having been promoted from the role of Senior Regional Sales Manager. In this new role Charlie will be responsible, with his team, for working with independent operators in the UK and Ireland, assisting with their early steps into zero-emission vehicles and operation, and exploring all opportunities to enabling more efficient vehicles into the UK and Ireland bus and coach parc.
Debbie McCreath has moved into the role of Group Marketing Director and will lead the company’s marketing, communications and public affairs activity. Debbie joined the business as the political lobbying lead in the role of Marketing Communications and Public Affairs Manager.
