Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, today announced that it has delivered a new Enviro200 bus to Wilson’s of Rhu Ltd.
The 8.9m long single decker represent the first order for a bus that the Scottish family business, which has founded in 1981 and is based in the village of Rhu, near Helensburgh, has placed with Alexander Dennis in recent years.
The Enviro200 is fitted with the award-winning Alexander Dennis SmartPack efficiency technology that allows it to be certified as a Low Emission Bus. The new addition to the fleet has already gone into operation on local bus services.
Director Alistair Wilson said: “This low-carbon vehicle is an excellent addition to our fleet and further underlines our commitment to provide our customers with high class, quality buses and coaches and to future-proof our business.”
