Alexander Dennis Limited (“ADL”), a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc. (“NFI”), one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, today announced that it has delivered a brand new Plaxton Panther coach to long-standing Cumbria operator Brownrigg’s Coaches.

Brownrigg’s Coaches has been delivering coach hire in Cumbria since the 1800s and has been a Plaxton customer for many years.

The new 53-seat coach, built on a Volvo B8R chassis, is fully compliant with PSV Accessibility Regulations thanks to a wheelchair lift and destination displays. It has wooden flooring and a number of customer features including a toilet, USB charging points and an audio visual system with monitor and DVD player.

Director Anthony Marshall, who is the fifth generation of the family run business, said: “We’re delighted to take delivery of this brand new coach. It’s fitted with a range of features our passengers will love and it will be a high-quality and reliable addition to our fleet.”

ADL Sales Account Manager Martin Dunleavy added: “The team at Brownrigg’s are a valued customer and have bought Plaxton vehicles for many years. We’re pleased to have delivered another high-specification vehicle to them and look forward to working with them again in the future.”
