Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, today announced that it has supplied a new Plaxton Leopard coach to English operator Fowler’s Travel.

The new coach seats 59 passengers in a standard 2+2 arrangement and meets PSV Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR) with a side-mounted wheelchair lift and destination displays. Like all Plaxton Leopard coaches, it is built on the Volvo B8R chassis.

The family-owned and managed business based in Holbeach Drove near Spalding, Lincolnshire will use the new Plaxton Leopard on school contracts and for private hire.

Managing Director Andrew Fowler said: “This new Plaxton Leopard is a good fit for our fleet, which we have standardised on Volvo chassis, many of which are fitted with Plaxton bodies. It allows us to offer a good seating capacity for a variety of work while being able to accommodate wheelchair users.”

Martin Dunleavy, Regional Sales Manager for Alexander Dennis, said: “Fowler’s Travel is a great example of a family business providing a stellar service to its customers. This latest new Plaxton coach shows the company’s ongoing investment in the fleet it provides to its customers, and we are delighted to have been chosen as supplier.”
