Alexander Dennis Limited (“ADL”), a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc. (“NFI”), one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, today announced that it has delivered two brand new Enviro200 single deck buses to new customer, Welsh operator Harris Coaches.

Harris Coaches is a family business, now in its 100th year of operation, providing high quality local bus services, school operations and private hire travel in South East Wales. The new buses have joined the company’s fleet of vehicles with a continued focus on comfort, quality and reliability.

The 8.9m long Enviro200 buses each have capacity for 30 customers on comfortable ADL SmartSeats and have been painted into the Harris Coaches bespoke exterior branding. Additional customer features include next stop audiovisual screens, a hygiene safety screen beside the driver and bilingual signs in Welsh and English.

John Harris, MD of Harris Coaches, said: “These new vehicles are a great addition to our fleet and to still be growing our business in our 100th year of trading is a real achievement. These buses are light years away from our grandfather’s first vehicle, a Model T Ford. We look forward to our customers enjoying the comfort and on-board features these buses offer.”

ADL Sales Account Manager Lee Salt added: “It’s been a pleasure to deliver these buses to Harris Coaches and I’d like to congratulate them on reaching their 100th year which is a fantastic milestone. We look forward to working with them again in the future.”
