Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., a leader in propulsion-agnostic bus and coach mobility solutions, today announced that it has supplied a high-capacity Enviro400 double deck bus to new English customer Kovacs Group.
Kovacs Group has been a provider of temporary labour since 1994, supplying HGV drivers, industrial workforces and office workers to the FMCG, drinks logistics, automotive, warehousing and industrial labour sectors. For large workforces in outlying or difficult-to-reach locations, it operates its own bus transport to provide synchronised and punctual arrivals and departures.
The fleet has now been boosted with the arrival of a new Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double decker, the second of the type in the Kovacs fleet and the first bought new from the manufacturer.
The Enviro400 has a capacity of 100 passengers with 85 seats. Built to the manufacturer’s stock specification, it is fitted with wood-effect flooring, three-point seatbelts, a digital tachograph and a comprehensive CCTV system.
Kovacs Group founder and Managing Director Robert Kovacs said: “The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 offers us high capacity in a robust vehicle, allowing us to transport temporary workforces to and from sites in comfort and providing a reliable service for our customers. The team at Alexander Dennis has been incredibly helpful throughout the buying and delivery process, making it very smooth for us.”
Simon Wood, Regional Sales Manager at Alexander Dennis, added: “It has been a pleasure to work with Kovacs Group directly for the first time to provide one of our popular double deckers. It’s already joined operations in the Midlands, doing what the Enviro400 does best: moving large groups of people in comfort at low operating costs.”
