Three new Enviro200 midi buses have joined the 30-strong fleet of Pontypool-based family business Phil Anslow & Sons.

They will operate on a new route to be known as the Wye Valley Explorer Service, covering Monmouth, Chepstow and Cwmbran, in Gwent, South Wales.

Phil Anslow, Managing Director of the business commented: “This is an exciting new development for our company, extending our reach still further across the Valleys and strengthening our already extensive range of services in Monmouth, Abergavenny, Brynmawr, Torfaen, Abertillery, Pontypool, Blaenavon, Ebbw Vale, Newport, Cwmbran Risca and elsewhere in South Wales.

“The Enviro200 is ideal for our service routes. It is robust, performs well in terms of fuel efficiency and reliability, yet remains stylish and popular with both drivers and passengers. Our latest additions include two 29-seat, 8.9m models and a 33-seat 9.6m version. All three vehicles have Lazarinni high back seats and are fitted with CCTV camera.”

They are powered by Euro5, Cummins ISB4.5 four cylinder engines, coupled with Allison automatic transmissions.
