Six Enviro200 low carbon vehicles have been delivered to Lanarkshire based Whitelaw’s Coaches.

They are 10.8m, 41 seat Euro6 models, all of which have wood effect floors and are fitted with high back E-Leather Practico seats, incorporating safety belts. They also have Mobitec Led destination boards, a 10-camera CCTV system and T1600 recorders.

All six are powered by Cummins ISBe 180PS four-cylinder engines and Voith D824.6 gearboxes.

The vehicles will join the 40-strong fleet operated by Whitelaw’s Coaches, a family business serving routes across North and South Lanarkshire and facilitating millions of passenger journeys per year.

Sandra Whitelaw, Managing Director of the business, commented: “We are delighted to have these new low carbon vehicles in our fleet. They join a large number of Enviro200s already operated by Whitelaw’s Coaches. They are stylish, popular with drivers and passengers and deliver exactly what they promise in terms of reliability, fuel economy and all-round performance. They are also supported by a parts and service team that is dedicated to the job.”
