Britain’s leading bus and coach manufacturer Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) will exhibit the market’s widest range of low and zero emission buses along with members of the versatile Plaxton coach range at Euro Bus Expo, held at the NEC in Birmingham from 30th October until 1st November 2018.
A high-spec Enviro200 will represent the nation’s favourite single deck bus, benefitting the environment with the award-winning SmartPack technology for efficient diesel Low Emission Buses, while zero emissions are the hallmark of the Enviro200EV, built in partnership with BYD. The double deck Enviro400 will be shown with different drivelines, including buses with SmartPack and SmartHybrid technology and – on the Scania stand – a biogas-fuelled example.
A mixture of demonstrator and customer Enviro200 and Enviro400 buses will display a wealth of specification options to enhance passenger experience, including the recently launched Alexander Dennis SmartSeat.
Plaxton’s new flagship Panorama double deck coach will be shown to a wider audience for the first time. It combines high seating capacity with flexible luggage and accessibility arrangements fit for all operational requirements. A touring-specification Panther will demonstrate the benefits of the best-selling British-built coach. Also to be exhibited is the recently launched Plaxton Panther LE, designed for commuter and regional services by marrying bus accessibility to coach comfort.
Information about ADL’s best-in-class aftermarket support will be a further feature of the company’s presence at Euro Bus Expo 2018.
