Two new Plaxton Leopards have joined the fleet at York Pullman Coaches, the rapidly expanding Yorkshire business that now has more than 150 vehicles in service across its group operations.
Both of the new coaches are 72-seat, 12.8m B8R Euro 6 models with I-Shift transmission, three-point safety belts and air conditioning throughout. They have gone straight into operation on school contracts and will also support the company’s extensive range of private hire programmes.
Tom James, Group Managing Director, commented: "We have always enjoyed a superb working relationship with Plaxton. Their product line-up forms the backbone of our fleet, including the six Cheetah XLs we have introduced in the past six months.
"Our aim is to stay at the forefront of the industry by providing modern, stylish vehicles that enhance the passenger experience, while also performing efficiently and consistently. Plaxton deliver what they promise and that, in turn, means we can do likewise for our customers. It’s a win-win situation that enables us to offer a wide range of school, college and educational transport solutions, along with private hires, corporate work, day trips and holiday programmes across the UK and Europe."
