Streets Coachways, a renowned third generation family business based in Barnstaple, continues to invest in the future and build on its reputation across Devon and the South West as a leading provider of modern, state-of-the-art vehicles.

The latest introduction to their fleet of 35 mini buses and coaches is a 70-seat, 12.2m B8R Plaxton Leopard powered by a D8K engine with I-Shift transmission. It is ULEZ compliant, has three-point safety belts, air conditioning throughout and is fitted with CCTV, DVD system, reversing cameras and alloy wheels.

Founded by Morris Street in 1962 the business is now run by his son Stephen, Managing Director of the company, ably supported by his wife Lin and their son Dan, who joined the firm on a full-time basis two years ago.

Day trips, airport transfers, theatre outings, weddings, holiday programmes reaching across the UK, corporate events, Devon golf tours, school and student excursions form the backbone of the services provided by the family business.

"Our aim has always been to offer quality, competitively priced coach and mini bus services across Devon, the South West and wider afield when it comes to holidays, private hires and educational trips," said company boss Stephen.

He added: "To do that we need a wide variety of vehicles, so we offer everything from eight to 70-seat mini buses and coaches. Our new Leopard provides both high capacity and a luxury finish and is ideal for a whole raft of propositions. It has gone into service supporting the extensive range of school, college and university outings that form an integral part of our product offering, while also reinforcing our line-up of high specification coaches for corporate and private hire.

"It joins a fleet that includes both Cheetah XL and Panther models from the Plaxton stable, further strengthening our strong relationship with the Scarborough operation over many years."
