Plaxton Leopard sets the pace as Reptons move into top gear

Published: 03 Sep 2019

Reptons Coaches, a name synonymous with bus and coach services across the South East of England, has introduced a new Plaxton Leopard to its growing fleet of modern vehicles.

Finished in the company’s distinctive blue and cream livery, the 53-seat model has gone straight into service working on school contracts, private hires and excursions.

Speaking from the company’s headquarters in Bookham, near Leatherhead, in Surrey, Andy Repton, a partner in the thriving business, said: “We have worked with Plaxton for many years and also introduced Enviro200 buses from Alexander Dennis Limited in 2018. These have been a great success operating on busy service routes between Guildford and Leatherhead, Cobham and Kingston upon Thames, and as dedicated shopper hoppers in and around Staines.

“When it came to purchasing a new, top of the range, luxury coach that meets the demanding ULEZ standards in London, it made sense to return to Britain’s leading supplier. It was the right decision.

“We are delighted with our new Leopard. It has a terrific finish, complete with leather headrests, air conditioning throughout, USB charging points, three-point safety belts and reversing camera. It also has a real street presence and the B8R model, coupled with the ZF automatic transmission, provides great performance on the road.”
