Enviro200s join the transport landscape in picturesque Perthshire

Published: 13 Jun 2018

Elizabeth Yule Transport, a name synonymous with bus and coach services in picturesque Pitlochry and across Perthshire and the Highlands, has introduced two new Enviro200 single decks to their fleet.

The new 9.6m, 33-seat buses, powered by Cummins ISB160PS engines and Allison 2100 automatic gearboxes are fitted with 7-camera CCTV and recorder systems, tachographs and LED destination equipment.

They join an extensive line-up of Elizabeth Yule vehicles providing bus services in Pitlochry, Kinloch Rannnoch, Blair Atholl, Calvine and Old Straun, all of which operate alongside the company’s wide-ranging fleet of mini buses and luxury coaches that cater for day trips, city breaks, national holiday tours, private hires and airport transfers across much of Scotland.

Based in Pitlochry, the family run business has been at the forefront of the local transport scene for more than 50 years and continues to be a dominant player in services across the vast tourist landscape of Perthshire and beyond.

Company Director Ricky Morton commented: “The Enviro200 has been a market leader for many years and has an outstanding reputation for fuel efficiency and overall performance. It is also stylish and popular with passengers and drivers. The new vehicles have slipped seamlessly into our fleet and are a welcome addition.”
