Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., today announced that it has delivered an Enviro200 single-deck bus to Phil Anslow & Sons Coaches of South Wales.
The bus is the eighth new Enviro200 in the Phil Anslow fleet in the last two years, following orders for four in 2024, and three in 2025 for the new X3 service.
At 8.9m long, the bus seats 30 with three-point belts at each seat. It is to the Enviro200’s standard specification, which was enhanced in 2025, with SmartSeats in blue moquette and wood-effect flooring. The bus is also fitted with a real time passenger information system and induction loops for the hard of hearing.
Like the previous deliveries to Phil Anslow & Sons, it is fitted with Alexander Dennis’s SmartPack efficiency technology, which means it qualifies as a low-emission bus.
The new Enviro200 will be used to upgrade Phil Anslow & Sons Coaches’ bus fleet. The company runs 23 buses on routes around and between Pontypool, Newport, Monmouth and Abergavenny.
Based in Pontypool, the operator has been established for over 45 years and is one of the biggest coach and bus operators in South Wales, with a full mix of work including private hire, day trips and its own tour programme.
