Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, today announced that it has handed over two new Plaxton Leopard coaches to Aziz Coach Service.
The latest deliveries take the total number of Plaxton Leopard coaches in the Birmingham-based fleet to eight. The type makes up more than half of the fleet of the well-established family business, which was founded in 1960.
The new coaches have been finished to a high specification with great kerb appeal, with a painted roof, gull-wing mirrors, additional marker lights and roof-mounted air horns. Each Leopard has 72 fully belted seats, giving them maximum capacity for school contracts and hires, with USB charging plugs provided. Wheelchair users can be accommodated via a side-mounted lift and destination equipment is provided, ensuring the coaches meet PSV Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR).
Like all Plaxton Leopard coaches, they are built on the fuel-efficient and reliable Volvo B8R chassis.
