Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, today announced that it has supplied four new Enviro200 single deck buses to Compass Travel of Worthing.

The new low-emission buses are dedicated to service 32, which Compass Travel provides in partnership with Surrey County Council. Newly branded as the Surrey Hills Xplorer, it connects Guildford, Dorking, Reigate and Redhill along the picturesque country lanes of the Surrey Hills.

Each of the new buses is 10.8m long and has USB charging at 40 comfortable Alexander Dennis SmartSeats as well as free Wi-Fi and next stop audio and visual announcements. Drivers benefit from reverse parking sensors, while the manufacturer’s SmartPack efficiency technology ensures that emissions are kept low by combining Euro VI engines with stop/start technology.
