Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, today announced that it has delivered a further Enviro200 single decker to Falcon Coaches, taking the operator’s fleet of the type to 34.
The new low-emission bus was handed over to the independent Surrey operator at Alexander Dennis’s local facility in Farnborough, which opened last year as the manufacturer’s new hub in the south of England.
Fitted with 40 comfortable Alexander Dennis SmartSeats and real-time passenger information, the new addition to the Falcon fleet joins four similar buses delivered over the past six months for Falcon’s new 479 service, which connects Epsom, Leatherhead and Guildford. It is an example of the vital links the company provides between key population centres in North East Surrey.
The 10.8m long bus uses Alexander Dennis’s SmartPack efficiency technology, which combines engine stop/start, e-cooling and auxiliary load management to bring down operating costs and emissions.

Falcon Coaches also confirmed a further order for another six brand-new low-emission Enviro200 buses to be delivered over the next four months for another three new services the company is starting this summer.
