Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, today announced that it has supplied a new Plaxton Panther coach to N.N. Cresswell Coach Hire.

The brand-new coach joins ten other Plaxton vehicles in the fleet. Finished in the operator’s white and blue livery, the Panther is built on the fuel-efficient Volvo B8R chassis and fitted with 57 seats, centre sunken toilet and servery.

Provision has been made for a wheelchair lift and destination displays to be fitted at a later date without a need for body modifications.

Mr Norris Norman Cresswell established his business in 1960 and it continues to be owned and operated by the family, offering day trips, school services and private hire from its base in Evesham, Worcestershire with a team of 20 staff.

N.N. Cresswell Director Mary Shephard said: “Plaxton coaches play an important role in our fleet. Their versatile specification and the ability to adapt them to changing requirements in later life made the Plaxton Panther an easy choice for this investment.”

Alexander Dennis Sales Manager Simon Wood added: “We’re very grateful for N.N. Cresswell’s continued trust in us and look forward to continuing to support them to ensure that this new Plaxton Panther delivers for the company throughout its operating life.”
