Alexander Dennis, a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., one of the world’s leading independent global bus manufacturers, today announced that it has supplied two new Enviro400 double deck buses to independent Irish operator Nolan Coaches.

Nolan Coaches will use the new buses on its FerryLink service, which provides connections to and from Dublin city centre including Heuston and Connolly stations for passengers arriving or departing on Irish Sea crossings at Dublin Port.

Alexander Dennis has fitted the double deckers with luggage racking, providing room for baggage alongside 82 comfortable passenger seats.

John Lockwood, Transport Manager for Nolan Coaches, said: “When we decided to upgrade our FerryLink fleet with new vehicles, the Alexander Dennis Enviro400 was an easy choice as it gave us the ability to adapt the interior to this service’s specific requirements while having a standard vehicle that is easy to maintain and efficient to operate.”

Lee Gibson, Regional Sales Manager for Alexander Dennis, added: “It’s great to see the investment Nolan Coaches have made in this vital bus link for passengers travelling to and from Ireland by ferry. It has been a pleasure to work with them and support a well respected, family-owned operator in enhancing the service offered to its customers.”
